Daniel Cormier is giving fans a glimpse of a career path he is certain to take, following the trilogy fight against Stipe Miocic. He appears in a commentary role at UFC PPVs and Fight Nights. Here, ‘DC’ has earned plaudits for his technical dissection of fights. Furthermore, he appears on a weekly chat show with ESPN’s Ariel Helwani where he engages in a discussion on all things MMA and now he planted the seeds for a massive clash in Bellator.
Daniel Cormier fires warning to Dillon Danis
In the latest episode of ‘DC and Helwani’, the Heavyweight challenger shared a tale regarding Conor McGregor’s Jiu-Jitsu coach who mocked his fellow American Kickboxing Academy member. He also sent Danis a warning.

He said, “Dillon Danis can talk, talk, talk. But the other day he went on a picture with boy Kyle Crutchmer and he said something. That’s a very dangerous game, Danis. Don’t you mess with my dude Kyle Crutchmer.”
Now, Cormier gets to the story and even reminds the audience that ‘El Jefe’ and Crutchmer are part of Bellator.
“He called Kyle Crutchmer a cheerleader. He said it was a picture of 3 dudes and goes who’s the cheerleader in the middle? Let me tell you something. Don’t mess with Crutchmer. Crutchmer is in Bellator. Let’s book it, Crutchmer vs Danis. Let’s make it happen, let’s see what’s gonna happen. If these guys wanna talk…”
Finally, ‘DC’ said, “Crutchmer would destroy him”
The two-time NCAA All-American too agreed with ‘DC’ and tweeted, “If I was you, I would watch what you say to me.”

Both fighters are undefeated with Crutchmer boasting of a 6-0 professional record. Meanwhile, Danis holds a 2-0 record. The latter fights at Middleweight but is yet to have an official bout at 185 as both won have come in agreed weight limit fights.
The former is just a weight class above him and a fight between the two should be easy to book if it does come to that.
