UFC is undoubtedly one of the biggest MMA promotions in the world. The UFC has seen other promotions team up for events to stay relevant. Hence, Bellator and Rizin have teamed up for Bellator MMA vs. Rizin on new year’s eve, 2022, in Japan. The main event saw Roberto de Souza against A.J. McKee. However, one memorable event occurred during the event which left the fans amused. The entrance of American bantamweight Juan Archuleta was one of the highlights of the card. Furthermore, the result of the fight dampened the impressive entrance. The fans took to Twitter to show their amusement at seeing the fighter walk out and the subsequent controversial decision.

Juan Archuleta made his entrance in a very impressive form. Many would say that Archuleta pulled off a professional wrestling-styled entrance for his fight. Moreover, with such an entrance, former UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya would be proud.

The fans were in awe of the walkout of Archuleta and tweeted their opinion. Juan Archuleta brought life to the event with his walkout. Marc Raimondi tweeted that the entrance looked “Dope”.

The fight saw a split decision win for Bellator MMA fighter. The result saw Bellator MMA extend their lead to 2-0 over Rizin.

Similarly, another fan gave their verdict on the fight saying Soo Chul Kim won the fight.

To that note on damage, one more fan backed the stance.

Another tweet saw the point system being laid out. The verdict still should have gone to Soo Chul Kim and Rizin should have been 1-1 after this point.

The angry fans also blamed the judges for such a controversial win. Furthermore, they added what the Rizin fighter did to the Bellator MMA fighter.

Furthermore, the controversy continued, with more opinions being flooded in the form of tweets.

Such a controversial decision saw the mood of the fans change drastically. Moreover, such decisions are seen in the UFC too. More recently, the UFC and MMA fans have heavily criticized Sean O’Malley and Paddy Pimblett‘s recent fights.
