The two exchanged punches way back in 2017. But the whispers of their rematch remain the talk of the town. The former two-division champion lost the fight in the 10th round by a TKO. McGregor had turned up to fight in the Octagon but has yet to return to the boxing ring.

However, ‘The Notorious’ got involved in an altercation with Mayweather’s bodyguards. This happened during their tour.

Analogous to his nature, the UFC star called the bodyguards ‘juicehead turkey’. 5 years later, one of them got knocked out in a pro boxing fight. MMA fans were quick to unearth the old incident to poke fun at him.

How the Conor McGregor fans reacted

MMA fans didn’t take Jizzy Mack’s loss to a comparatively lighter opponent kindly. He became famous for the beef he had with McGregor.

One user took a dig at him and commented on how was knocked out by a tiny man.

He tweeted, “Yesterday, Jizzy Mack was Floyd Mayweather’s bodyguard. Jizzy Mack couldn’t guard his own body and was knocked out by a very small man. Today, Floyd Mayweather is Jizzy Mack’s bodyguard.”

Further, several Twitter users made similar comments about him.

Many people pointed toward the weight difference between the opponents. They weren’t happy how the bodyguard had more weight advantage, yet lost the match.

Thus, social media users brought up his past feud with McGregor and took digs at him.

The Conor McGregor-Floyd Mayweather feud

During their promotional world tour in 2017 for the buildup to their money match, a brawl broke out between the two combat stars’ teams. The incident happened in Brooklyn. Mayweather, being the instigator, directed his team to surround McGregor.

‘The Notorious’ ended up pointing toward Mayweather’s bodyguards and repeatedly called them “juiceheads”. Therefore, a lot took place prior to their expected boxing match.

Recently, the undefeated boxer also spoke about facing the Irishman once again. Hence, fans expect yet another match sometime next year.
