UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou is gearing up to defend his undisputed strap for the first time since becoming champion. ‘The Predator’ captured the title at UFC 260 by viciously knocking out heavyweight GOAT Stipe Miocic in the second round. He now faces a new challenge in the form of his former teammate Ciryl Gane.
Ahead of UFC 270, famed MMA journalist Ariel Helwani took to social media and revealed the timepiece that Ngannou is set to wear on his wrist for the weigh-ins.
Francis Ngannou will be wearing this timepiece from Jacob & Co. when he weighs in on Jan. 21, per a release.

The Cameroonian champion is known to wear ethnic and flashy outfits and accessories that make heads turn immediately. Now, ‘The Predator’ is set to flaunt one such stylish accessory that will be featured during weigh-in day for UFC 270.
Despite all the pomp on January 21, Ngannou will be keen to translate his flashy persona into a devastating display of violence against Gane on January 22.

Francis Ngannou vs Ciryl Gane can steal the show at UFC 270
‘Bon Gamin’ may arguably be one of the hardest fights Ngannou can field in the division, given his style. Gane is rather laid back in his approach and is extremely patient when it comes to shot selection. Moreover, he has been able to use his exquisite footwork to outmatch his opponents and remain undefeated thus far.
However, Gane will have to be on his toes throughout the duration of the contest to avoid Ngannou’s atomic power. ‘The Predator’, who is on a five-fight KO streak, can shut the lights off at will and it only takes one shot to land to end the night early.
