The highly anticipated heavyweight title unification bout between Francis Ngannou and Ciryl Gane is now merely days away. Both men are arguably the most dominant fighters in the weight class, and there’s a pressing need to see who will reign supreme. Jon Jones shared his take on the upcoming main event.
The former light heavyweight champion, who is expected to make his heavyweight bow, tweeted:-
Really have no clue who’s going to win, I’m just excited to watch the fight. Going to learn so much about the both of them no matter how it goes down https://t.co/e59QVSiuy7

Will Jon Jones use UFC 270 to study his next opponent?
The biggest storyline surrounding Jon Jones in recent years has been his move up to the UFC’s heavyweight division. Having ruled over the light heavyweight division with an iron first, fans want to see him push the boundaries at heavyweight. Interestingly, ‘Bones’ will more likely than not face off against the winner of Ngannou and Gane.
Hence, Jones will look to absorb as much information as possible when both heavyweight titans meet inside the cage. UFC President Dana White has hinted at the fact that Jones will secure an immediate title shot at heavyweight if he so chooses to move up.
Jones has taken significant time-off from active competition in order to grow into his new physique at heavyweight. He hasn’t competed since February 2020 and is in the longest period of inactivity of his credentialed career. However, he has been staying busy and training with some elite names on the roster like Henry Cejudo.
Is the @HenryCejudo and @JonnyBones team-up a sign of things to come?

The anticipation of Jon Jones’ move up to heavyweight has reached a critical point and fans want to see how far he’ll go. Securing a second belt would solidify his GOAT status and add yet another stunning accomplishment to his resume. However, getting past either Francis Ngannou or Ciryl Gane for the heavyweight strap will be easier said than done.
