The actress attended the event to promote her new feature film ‘Bruised,’ as well as to express her support for the sport of MMA.

Her upcoming movie ‘Bruised’ is based on the journey of a mixed martial artist. In the movie, Halle Berry is acting as an MMA fighter. The upcoming film will release this month in the USA. The movie features the UFC flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko and Amanda Nunes as well. Additionally, ‘Bruised’ marks Halle Berry’s directorial debut.
Halle Berry was featured at an interview with ESPN MMA at the UFC 268 weigh-ins. Halle expressed her love for MMA in the interview. She said, “This is real. This is intense. I love this game, I love these fighters. It’s amazing.“I have worked with many fighters now and been on this journey for about three years and the energy that they’re carrying right now getting ready for tomorrow is palpable.
When she was asked to pick her favorite fighter from the upcoming card, she said, “I can’t. I love these ladies too much. The only person I’m ever going to root for undisputedly is Valentina Shevchenko. she was my fight partner in ‘bruised’. she’s become my sweetheart. I will always be pulling for her.”

UFC 268 Main card: Weigh-in results
Two UFC titles will be on the line at UFC 268, as both championship fights are official following the UFC 268’s weigh-ins. Headliners Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington both made their weight for the championship fight. The Nigerian weighed in at 169 pounds, while the challenger came in at 169.4.

In the co-main event, strawweight champion Rose Namajunas and challenger Zhang Weili both made weight, at 115 pounds. The fight for the number one lightweight contender was confirmed as well. Michael Chandler weighed came in at 155.2 pounds, while Justin Gaethje weighed 155.6 pounds. Frankie Edgar weighed 135.6 and his opponent, Marlon Vera, tipped the scale at 135 lbs.
