UFC featherweight Lerone Murphy secured a massive KO on the preliminary card against fellow prospect Makwan Amirkhani. The end came at 00:14 of round two via flying knee right as ‘Mr. Finland’ made his way upon entry for a takedown. Amirkhani dominated the first round with heavy wrestling pressure and controlled the English against the cage.
However, Murphy revealed in his corner after round one that he was just warming up heading into round two. ‘The Miracle’ landed a well-timed knee right to Amirkhani’s jaw and the Finnish fighter was out cold when he hit the canvas. In fact, Makwan Amirkhani took quite a while to get back onto the stool after the crushing blow landed.
