5. UFC 189: Conor McGregor vs Chad Mendes
The Irishman’s long, somewhat unruly hair in his fight against Chad Mendes is something fans cannot forget. The imagery of that fight lives on in the minds of fans. Chiefly, his hair strewn over his face made for some iconic photography.

McGregor was returning to action since losing his belt to Khabib Nurmagomedov and fans were awaiting his return. McGregor showed up to fight week with a slicked-back haircut that is considered by many to be his most stylish. Whether it be at press conferences or in his octagon interview, McGregor’s look took off.
