After an upsetting loss to Justin Gaethje, Tony Ferguson is finally coming back to the UFC octagon to try to conclude the year on a pleasant note. ‘El Cucuy’ will collide with Charles Oliveira on Saturday, in the co-main event of UFC 256. Ahead of his comeback, Tony Ferguson chatted with Kevin Iole. He reflected some light on his upcoming fight, his family, and why he is adamant about not amusing anyone hereupon.
Tony confessed, “There’s no wrath, kid. I’m gonna be real. I think after everybody think about fighting as always being negative and all the bull***t. This is a competition and I’m a wrestler so whoever’s gonna put in front of me, I’m gonna go out there and do my best and blah blah…that kind of stupid s**t.”

“I’m not like please anybody anymore. The last couple of fights I’ve been just trying to like, I’ve been exhausting all my energy trying to make everybody else f*****g happy that’s in my thought was my close circle and there is no juice in the squeeze left for my wife, my kid.”
In addition to getting back in the win column, and not exhausting his energy to make others happy, fans can expect a dangerous Tony Ferguson at the UFC Apex. ‘El Cucuy’ looks extremely composed ahead of his anticipated return, and a composed fighter is always fearsome.

Fans always wished to see him fight the lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, but just like the lightweight gold, this fight was never on the cards for ‘El Cucuy’.
Tony will look to re-start his sturdy lightweight run on December 12. At present, he holds the 3rd rank on the roster. If he gets past Charles Oliveira, ‘El Cucuy’ might replace Justin Gaethje to claim the number 1 spot in lightweight rankings.
