Dana White has had a long stint as the UFC President. During his tenure, he has dealt with fighters of all kinds of caliber and attitude. There have also been some who have not been very easy to deal with. The UFC supremo has opened up on who, according to him, was the hardest to deal with in doing business.
As the promotion heads towards one of its biggest events of the year, Dana White sat down with Kris Fade and touched upon several issues. The most obvious ones were regarding UFC 254. Moreover, he had high praise for the hospitality and services in the region. White has already predicted that Abu Dhabi is on its way to become the ‘Fight Capital‘ of the world.

One rather non-topical question that came Dana’s way was regarding the hardest fighter he had to deal with in his UFC career. His answer was a little unexpected. Many would assume that the name of the Diaz brothers would come up because of their brash attitude. However, White went with a former champion instead.
Dana White considers Tyron Woodley as the hardest fighter he has dealt with
Dana White brought up the name of Tyron Woodley for the hardest fighter he has worked with. The former champ hasn’t always been White’s most favorite champion. The UFC President was highly critical of him after his fight with Demian Maia, which had a really low number of strikes thrown.
“I would say the hardest kid that I ever dealt with, and everybody thinks that I don’t like him, it has to be Woodley. Woodley’s the hardest kid I’ve ever dealt with. I look at what he could have done and what he should have done,” White said on The Kris Fade Show.

“Good looking kid, physique, the whole thing, becomes a world champion, has that knockout power, has all the tools and everything else, but it’s just always pulling teeth with him and it’s always about something else other than the fight,” he added.
White and Woodley have had their share of back-and-forth. The UFC President called the former 170-pounds champ as a ‘Drama Queen’. White also seemed a bit put off with the low PPV numbers pulled in by Woodley’s fights.
