The reigning Featherweight champion, Amanda Nunes is probably one of the best fighters to ever grace the UFC’s women’s’ division. She holds both, the Featherweight title, and the Bantamweight title. She is also the #1 pound-for-pound fighter in the UFC’s women division.

Living up to her nickname, “The Lioness” brings along with her an unmatchable ferocity and the skills to back it up. Her striking is as dangerous as it can get. She packs a wallop behind those devastating and measured strikes, dishing them out relentlessly as the opponent suffers under pressure.

It is due to her amazing striking abilities that she has the heads of legendary strikers like Cris Cyborg and Ronda Rousey on her resume. Compared to Felicia Spencer, the Brazilian will certainly dominate in the striking department.

However, this does not mean that she lags behind on the ground. While Nunes certainly prefers destroying her opponents in the stand-up fight, she employs Jiu-Jitsu(Black Belt) and Judo(Brown Belt) whenever the requirement presents itself.

For: Felicia Spencer

Fighting out of Orlando, Florida, the Canadian is relatively newer to the UFC canvas than her opponent. Nevertheless, she has garnered an amazing amount of credibility in her short duration with the promotion.

While she fails to match up to Amanda’s aggressive striking, she does dish out some insane strikes. Moreover, her strength lies in her ability to control clinches and fighting on the ground.

Her capacity to take shots is what stands out the most. In her fight with Cris Cyborg, Spencer took an awful lot of damage, yet she did not allow herself to faze. She stood her ground, absorbing all that Cyborg had to offer. Yet, she was unable to successfully execute even a single takedown despite her 8 attempts.

Prediction: Amanda Nunes wins via KO/TKO between rounds 2 and 3

Even though Spencer’s chin can absorb an insane amount of damage, Amanda does not stop until she beaks her opponents.

Moreover, Felicia’s clinches and might fall short in front of Nunes’ experience and commendable ground game. Thus, if Nunes aims to come out with her usual aggression and manages to maintain the same pace that she always does, she will almost certainly bag the win by dominating the usually defensive Spencer.
