Dana White trying to organize UFC 249 amid the Coronavirus epidemic has rubbed some people the wrong way and many have voiced their concerns in the public forum. However, Top Rank’s Bob Arum is the one who drew a scathing response from White after making statements regarding White’s desire to hold multiple events in May while the country is going through a crisis.

The rivalry between the two combat sports giants has recently been renewed. The two executives are far from strangers when it comes to sharing their two cents about their counterparts.

White did not hold back at all when asked about his thoughts over Arum’s comments on the UFC Unfiltered podcast.

“Listen, I think by now everybody realizes that Bob Arum is a d***head. This guy has been talking (expletive) about the UFC and me for 20 years,” said White in response to Arum’s comments.

White scoffs at Arum for not hosting events. The UFC boss believes that it is not a sense of civic duty that has been holding Arum back from hosting events.

“He’s (expletive) bankrupt this guy. Of course, you don’t want to put fights on. You can’t afford to put fights on you (expletive) jackoff. You’ve been in this thing your whole life and have completely destroyed the business and the sport. Congratulations, Bob Arum. You’re brilliant,” said Dana White as he blasted Arum for his comments on UFC 249.

White’s comments stem from an interview that Arum was a part of with BoxingScene. The Top Rank frontman went on to label White a “cowboy” and criticizing white for hosting multiple events while the country is dealing with a global epidemic.

“Good luck to them. I just hope that they’re not endangering the safety of anyone. But this kind of cowboy behavior doesn’t do anybody any good,” said Arum while talking about White’s decision to organize multiple events.

The 88-year-old’s company has no events scheduled in the near future. On the other hand, the UFC is looking to make a return, later this week on May 9th. Following which, May 13th and 16th have been blocked for two more events. The UFC has released tentative dates for potential upcoming events, May 23rd, and another PPV card on June 6th.
