Dana White did not look too happy about one of the reporters who got booed by the fans out of the building, with his microphone taken away from him. UFC 246 press conference concluded earlier today. The PPV will feature Conor McGregor and Donald Cerrone on Jan. 18 inside T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas.
In a recent interaction, moments after the UFC 246 press conference, UFC President Dana White took some more questions from the media. During the press conference, a reporter was reportedly booed by the crowd when he asked a question about Conor McGregor.
White refuted any claims of the microphone being taken away from the reporter. In the process, he also blamed the media for causing drama. White went on to ask the reporters if they saw anybody taking his microphone away. He said that the reporter didn’t ask any question because he got booed out of the building. He also said that it must have the first time for the reporter to find himself in such a situation. So, he decided to pass the microphone instead.

“The microphone was taken away? No, the microphone wasn’t taken away from him. Oh my God, you are so drama. Did you see anybody try… He didn’t ask the question, probably never happened to him, but he got fu***** booed out of the place. He literally sat down and handed his microphone off to the next guy.”
Dana White offers a piece of advise

White claims that the reporter’s microphone was not snatched away, but the boos from the fans have raised questions over what a reporter can ask. Having said that, some certain things aren’t right for the situation, but it certainly doesn’t mean that he/she will be snatched off his opportunity to speak on the microphone. White assured that nothing of that sort took place, and the reporter decided to sit by his own decision.
When further questioned if such kind of behavior from the fans sends a wrong image of UFC across, here’s what he had to say:
“I think that we you get up and ask a question like that. You should probably expect that. The place is filled with Conor McGregor fans. But if you do, stand up there, and ask the next question. If you have the next question, but he probably doesn’t have a next question. He is going for the kill. That question was asked yesterday, right? We are here to talk about the fight, and if you really want to ask that question, and you want to get into that. Set up an interview with Conor, one on one, and ask him whatever you want.”
