Arguably the best fight card of the year, UFC 244 features some exciting fights including the BMF title fight between Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz. In the co-main event, Darren Till will make his middleweight debut against Kelvin Gastelum. While the former welterweight number title contender, Stephen Thompson will take on the Silent Assassin, Vicente Luque in the main card. Although Stephen Thompson is coming from two consecutive losses he is still a formidable opponent in the division and will be looking to get back to the top of the division starting with a win over Vicente Luque who is on a 6 fight win streak. Although the win over Perry was a controversial one there is no denying that Luque has looked really good in his last few fights. here are some of the UFC fighters trying to predict Stephen Thompson vs Vicente Luque in a recent interview with ScoreMMA.
UFC lightweight, Kevin Lee is leaning towards the skills and experience of Wonderboy in this fight. Lee said:
“We don’t know too much about Luque yet. He looked good against Mike Perry. I guess I am gonna go with Wonderboy”.

UFC welterweight James Vick is also favoring Stephen Thompson to get his hands raised in Madison Square Garden as he said:
“It’s hard to bet against Wonderboy. Anybody can get caught, you saw in the Pettis fight, he was dominating the whole fight. It was not even close. And then lightning struck. I think it hard to hard to beat Wonderboy in a straight-up striking battle. if you are gonna stand with him, I think Vicente is a very good striker and a vicious calf kicker. But it’s going to be hard to calf kick Wonderboy cause he is going to stand more southpaw. I am gonna go with Wonderboy.”
UFC light heavyweight title contender, Dominick Reyes, however, is leaning towards Vicente Luque to get the W. Reyes added:
“I got Luque in that one. He is looking really good.”
UFC lightweight, Dan Hooker believes Luque will be more predictable than Stephen Thompson and is slightly favoring Wonderboy to get the win. Dan Hooker said:

“Will Stephen Thompson be able to control the distance. Vicente Luque really enjoys pressuring. he pressures guys against the cage. Not a lot of people have been able to stop him coming forward, but I feel like Thompson has more looks. Vicente is a little predictable for Thompson.”
