UFC 243: Robert Whittaker vs Israel Adesanya- UFC Fighters Pick The Winner of the Main Event

Robert Whittaker vs Israel Adesanya is going to main event one of the biggest night in UFC history. It will be a classic war between an Australian champion vs a Kiwi champion when undisputed middleweight champion. Robert Whittaker takes on the interim champion, Israel Adesanya. While the Last Style blender will bring an elite level of striking and trickery to the octagon, Whittaker is going to bring a heart of a champion and a well-rounded game. This might be the most competitive fight in recent memories.

However, Pro UFC fighters do not seem that impressed with Adesanya’s chance in this fight. Most of the UFC fighters are leaning towards the reigning champion to get the job done in UFC 243. Well, how could you bet against a man who fought Yoel Romero for 10 rounds and survived?

Robert Whittaker vs Israel Adesanya: Predictions

 Former interim lightweight champion, Dustin Poirier is not going to pick anyone in this fight since he thinks both Izzy and Whittaker have equal chances to take the middleweight glory in UFC 243.

“These are tough fights for me to pick. Adesanya has been looking incredible. I don’t know I am not picking anybody.“

Kelvin Gastelum who went to war with Adesanya not so long ago is rooting for the Nigerian champion, but he thinks Whittaker gets the job done. Gastelum predicted:

“I have said I like this fight a lot. Izzy obviously has a variety of tools that he uses in his fights. Rob has just the right tools to beat Izzy. although I am rooting for Izzy“

UFC Lightweight, Paul Felder is also leaning towards the Aussie champion in the main event of UFC 243. “I have been leaning towards Whittaker. Just because of experience. I think Adesanya is going to have his day. But I am going to go with the safe bet and go with the champ and somebody that has been through some wars.” said Felder.

UFC middleweight fighter, Jack Hermansson is also predicting Whittaker to win the fight. According to Hermansson :

“I think Whittaker taking that one. I feel like Adesanya is really good. But Whittaker is very good at covering range. I feel like if Gastelum could hit Adesanya that many times Whittaker will be able to do that as well.“

Arguably the greatest fighter in MMA, Demetrious Johnson is also not picking any fighter as he believes both Adesanya and Whittaker are skilled enough to get the job done in UFC 243. “I think Either one of those can win that fight,” said Johnson.

UFC heavyweight Walt Harris is leaning towards Adesanya to unify the middleweight title. Harris predicted:

“I got to go with Izzy. He is tough to deal with. he is big, rangy and athletic. I think Robert is gonna have to catch him. but I think Izzy will find a way to win it”

Irrespective of the winner of this fight, it’s safe to assume that it is going to be the most intriguing fight of this year when Robert Whittaker vs Israel Adesanya main events at Marvel Stadium in UFC 243.
