UFC 243 is now officially the biggest event in UFC history with an attendance of more than 57,000. The main event features an epic battle between the middleweight champion, Robert Whittaker and interim middleweight champion, Israel Adesanya. It also had a lightweight fight between Dan Hooker and Al Iaquinta. The card was stacked with fighters from Australia and New Zealand and the fans in the arena showed overwhelming support to the fighters inside the octagon.

Not only the fans but Hollywood superstar, Chris Hemsworth was also in the Marvel arena, Melbourne to witness the biggest event in MMA history.

Chris Hemsworth who is well known around the globe plays the role of Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And the Marvel Arena tonight could not have asked for a better superhero among the crowd to witness history.

Even former UFC heavyweight and light heavyweight champion, Daniel Cormier was excited to see Hemsworth. “Me and Thor had a moment” said Cormier when Hemsworth acknowledged Cormier’s gesture with a thumbs up.

Other than Chris Hemsworth, UFC featherweight and number one title contender, Alexander Volkanovski was also present in the arena to support his fellow Aussie fighters in UFC 243. Apart from him, UFC bantamweight and flyweight champion, Henry Cejudo was also in the arena to watch the event. UFC middleweight, Paulo Costa was also there watching Whitaker vs Adesanya closely as he may be the next in line for the title shot  as he defeated Yoel Romero in his last fight in UFC 241.

The main event title fight between Robert Whittaker vs Israel Adesanya has Australia vs New Zealand rivalry in it. This fight is so compelling that even the God of Thunder, Chris Hemsworth had to come down to Marvel Arena to catch it live in UFC 243.
