After the successful completion of UFC 301, the fans are now desperately waiting for the UFC 302 event. One of the biggest attractions of the night is the co-main event fight between Paulo Costa and Sean Strickland. Costa was last seen inside the Octagon at UFC 298 when he took on Robert Whittaker in the 170-pound division.

Despite losing the battle, the Brazilian earned heaps of praise for his performance that night. ‘The Eraser’ will now look to get back to winning ways when he takes on ‘Tarzan’ at UFC 302 next. The 33-year-old has one of the most iconic walkouts in the promotion. But which song does he walk out to exactly? Let us find out.

Paulo Costa’s best walkouts from his UFC career

33-year-old Paulo Costa is without a doubt one of the most talented fighters in the division. However, he has yet to back his talent with consistent performances inside the Octagon. One of Costa’s biggest assets is his explosiveness inside the Octagon. He also surprises his fans because of the choices of songs he has made in his career so far.

Despite coming from Brazil, Costa has used a variety of songs in his career and has no specific songs to date. His latest walkout at UFC 298 was to ‘Clubbed to Death’ by Rob Dougan, from ‘The Matrix.’

During his fight with Israel Adesanya, Costa chose to walk out to the popular Portuguese song ‘Divisa De Fogo’ by Grupo Fogo no Pe. Although the result did not go in favor of the Brazilians, the song is still etched into the memories of the fans.

Another song that was used by ‘The Eraser’ was the famous How Deep Is Your Love by Calvin Harris when he took on Uriah Hall at UFC 226. His list of songs is quite massive, but we now shift our focus to the song Costa used on his return at UFC 278.

Paulo Costa’s memorable walkout at UFC 278

UFC 278 witnessed Paulo Costa take on Luke Rockhold for the first time in his career. Both fighters matched toe to toe against each other and went the full distance. ‘The Eraser’ won the fight via decision but later struggled with injuries in his next few fights. UFC 278 also witnessed the very last of the legend, Luke Rockhold. He decided to retire from the sport after struggling to keep up with an opponent younger than him. During his UFC 278 fight, Costa walked out to the famous ‘X Gon’ Give It to Ya’ song by the legendary DMX.

The Brazilian will now look to get back to winning ways against Sean Strickland at UFC 302 next. Both fighters will be desperate to get back to winning ways, as another loss would push them out of a title fight. Strickland, who was the former middleweight champion, is a master of landing hard punches. However, we must not forget that Brazilians can take hits, unlike many. Just like most of his appearances, the fans will be waiting to witness which song the Brazilian walks out to this time around.
