Three-time kickboxing world champion and British citizen, Curtis Page, faced some heinous allegations. Not one or two, but 22 cases were filed against him based on charges of sexual assault based on the account of three alleged victims. Curtis Page was finally summoned by the England courts back in 2017.

As per the details reported, the alleged incidents went down between 1985 and 1995. Page Sr. denied having committed any of the crimes charged against him, but he admitted to having been involved with all three victims. According to him, the three women conspired and dragged his name into the mud.

Curtis Page was the head of the Great British Martial Arts Association at the time of his arrest; however, after his arrest, the Great Britain Martial Arts Association and the British Kickboxing Council banned him. But things were comparatively more fortunate for him in the courts.

Out of 22 accusations/cases, Page was only convicted and declared guilty in two cases relating to abuse. Isleworth Crown Court unanimously acquitted him of 15 cases. His friends and family had a sigh of relief. But the whole ordeal broke Page Sr. as he had to be in jail for some time. In 2019, Curtis Page passed away.

While having a conversation with Sun Sports, Page stated that after his father’s death, the gym was the only place where he could find peace. “That’s my family – when I decided to turn over to MMA my dad said to me he couldn’t coach me anymore in terms of going into Mixed Martial Arts as he had no experience in it. He always helped with the kickboxing style but he said I had to search and find a good coach.”

He further added, “So when I found what I believed was a good coach my dad came down to meet him and he told him ‘I’m passing my son onto you now’. My coach said to me how serious he took that, and he has. He’s never let me down in any way, shape or form. He’s always made me prepared for every single fight. So my trust is one million percent with him through all my hard times. My gym has always been a place I can go and reflect and be in peace. I needed that this time and the London Shootfighters helped me massively.”
