UFC, over the years, has seen different fighters come up with different methods of training. Most of them follow the basic training in the gym regularly type of method. However, some fighters take the unconventional route in order to conquer their minds.

Furthermore, these personal techniques not only assist the fighter to get better at the physical side of the game but also, helps them build a very strong mentality. A fighter who took these uncustomary ways is the current light heavyweight champion, Jiri Prochazka.

The champion revealed on ‘The MMA Hour’ that he once spent three days in complete darkness; Moreover, he did so without eating anything during that stint. Prochazka said that “[by doing so] you can work with your demons and train what you want.”

Fans react to his wild training methods

Fans, upon hearing what ‘Denisa’ did, totally lost their minds. They chimed in the comment section to share their thoughts on this out-of-the-ordinary way of training.

A user complimented Prochazka and wrote, “This man built different”.

Meanwhile, another compared him to an anime character, “Bro is literally a Baki character.”

A troll hilariously wrote, “That sounds like some crystal meth type of sh*t.”

Furthermore, a fan called him out of this world by mentioning him as an alien. He said, “Dude an alien confirmed”.

A user was terrified to hear that and wrote, “that’s honestly terrifying.”

Moreover, another troll said, “Not only he was fighting them, but that man became one too 😂”

A namedrop saw a fan mention former UFC light-heavyweight champion, Jon Jones. While comparing them, the user said, “meanwhile, Jon Jones partying a week before his fight”.

Another sarcastic comment saw a user write, “I used to do that when I was a coc*ine addict”.

Is he headlining the final UFC event of 2022?

Prochazka won the light-heavyweight belt against former champion Glover Teixeira at UFC 275. The pair battled it out for almost five rounds before the younger athlete locked in a choke to submit Teixeira.

Since the fight was really close, the UFC decided to run it back. They booked the rematch for UFC 282. Furthermore, the event will also mark the last PPV show of the year.
