The young rider’s achievements have made special by the incredible perfromances of his four-legged equine partner Son of a Lady, who is often seen by Simonson’s side on the big stages. Christian Simonson eyes more glory with trustworthy partner

With eyes set on becoming a “Grand Prix Duo“, Simonson has been helping the horse learn U25 movements stringently. Captioned “A little life update on Sonny“, the post sheds more light on how the Pan Am gold-winning team has been keeping itself occupied over the last few weeks.

Along with that, Simonson also talked about what he and Son of a Lady are planning for the year. “I cannot wait to show him off this season“, stated Simonson in his Instagram post, as the two are seen practicing those graceful moves in the training facility. Simonson said doing a few national U25 competitions is still pretty much the short-term goal they have set for themselves before attempting to dominate Europe while also having possibilities of participating in CDI events on the horizon.

Along with their training regime and participation plans, Simonson also gave fans BTS knowledge of Son of a Lady’s personality in the short video. “He’s a personable horse“, claims Simonson as he details how Son of a Lady loves to stand in attention whenever he’s brought out of his enclosure. He says his partner’s favorite thing is hacking while also enjoying his time in the paddock with other horses.

Simonson has been lucky in terms of finding his rides

Over the years, Simonson has had mutliple equine partners who have left lasting impacts on his illsutrious career. Months ago, Christian received a new training partner in Fleau de Baian and was excited with the prospects the horse offered in terms of mastering new skills.
