Azalea graced Madison Square Garden to watch the New York Knicks take on the Boston Celtics during the 2021-22 season. The Knicks had a terrific game, much to Smith’s liking as they comfortably defeated the Celtics. Being an avid Knicks fan, Smith hailed his favorite team on First Take. However, while boasting highly about the win, Smith made some off-hand remarks about the 33-year-old rapper too.

Smith too, recently hopped in to watch the sensational pop star perform. However, after the concert, Smith seems to have become a Swiftie too.
Smith took to his podcast to show his appreciation for Swift. “Taylor Swift, she’s something special. She cost me a boatload of money… I’m still broke. It’s ridiculous. Until you see Taylor Swift perform“, remarked Stephen A. Smith.

When you perform and you uplift…. and they come around and are not only complimentary of you but they are willing to pay to see it again? That’s a superstar“.
He also mentioned her previous interaction with the Los Angeles Lakers legend, the late Kobe Bryant. “Years ago, Kobe Bryant saluted her…incredible performance in Los Angeles. His beautiful daughter Bianca was at the Taylor Swift concert…. she gave her a hug, put her 22-inch hat. Beautiful beautiful thing“, he said, praising Swift’s heartwarming gesture.
