Stars to watch out for at the Farmers Insurance Open

Stephan Jaeger of Germany, showcasing remarkable performance with a cumulative score of -12, has completed rounds of 68 and 64. During Round 2, players faced a challenging yet rewarding layout. Nicolai Højgaard from Denmark closely follows with a score of -11, achieved through consistent rounds of 67 and 66. With the front nine boasting a par of 36 and the back nine mirroring the difficulty, the 18th hole presented significant challenges with its 486-yard length.

Hideki Matsuyama from Japan concluded the second round at -7 overall, showcasing consistent play with rounds of 66 and 71. The course layout for round 2 featured challenging holes, with Matsuyama navigating through the course adeptly. He concluded his play on the 18th hole with a birdie.

Engaging competition continues with Aaron Rai from England and Emiliano Grillo from Argentina, both sharing the seventh spot at -8. Rai closed his rounds with a cumulative score of 136, while Grillo displayed prowess with rounds of 67 and 69.

Joseph Bramlett of the USA joins them in the seventh position, showcasing good performance with a score of -8.

Round 3 tee time for the Farmers Insurance Open

The 3rd round will start on at 12:20 p.m. (all times EST). Round 3 will be broadcast by The Golf Channel at 3:00 p.m ET. The streaming of the same will be on Peacock, and ESPN+. The prize purse is a whopping $9 million. The champion will walk away with $1.62 million, while the runner-up will pocket $981,000.
