BCCI today announced the 15-man squad for the upcoming home test series against New Zealand which starts on September 22. The talk was about Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan’s place in the team considering their recent performances and the good showing by the domestic players in Duleep Trophy.
Only Stuart Binny and seamer Shardul Thakur has been trimmed from the squad that traveled to West Indies last month.

People on twitter wanted Gautam Gambhir to be a part of the squad and were surprised at the inclusion of Rohit and Shikhar Dhawan. Twitterati mocked and showed disappointment over the selection:
