The Indian cricket team took on South Africa in the 3rd of three Test matches, with the former, winning the first two. However, sometime during the match, there was a bizarre incident involving India coach Ravi Shastri.

As it turned out, Shastri was spotted by the cameras, catching forty winks in the dressing room. Naturally, it wasn’t long before all the social media trolls cracked their knuckles. Needless to say, they were merciless and Ravi Shastri once again found himself as the butt of several jokes.

Meanwhile, out on the pitch, Virat Kohli?s troops were looking relaxed on the field with the match practically gift-wrapped. Evidently Shastri figured that taking it easy, applied to him as well and he took capital advantage.

It was also worth noting that Shubman Gill, was spotted looking at his dozing coach, rather bemusedly. Ravi Shastri is actually paid rather handsomely for the role of India head coach, pocketing Rs 10 crore annually.

Coming back to the actual match, Umesh Yadav ran riot, along with Mohammed Shami. A bouncer from the former, managed to send Quinton de Kock packing, while Shami cleaned up three more. The Proteas’ day got worse as Dean Elgar retired injured, while Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin bagged a wicket each.

Meanwhile, Shahbaz Nadeem grabbed his maiden first class wicket in Test cricket. He managed to have Temba Bavuma stumped, he said afterwards,??You can say it was the perfect left-arm spinner?s delivery,?.

Nadeem credited the IPL and the India A series for his smooth transition into the Test team. ?They (A series) help you know your opponents. Four or five players from this (South Africa) team played in the A series. And since in the IPL batsmen attack you, it helps you control nerves. You know you have been on the big stage and this (playing in a Test) starts feeling familiar too.?
