Stuart Broad produced an amazing spell of 6-17 on Day 3 of the third test against South Africa in Johannesburg today. England, who took the first innings lead of 10 runs by scoring 323 in response to South Africa’s 313, would have hoped for a target of not more 200-250 to seal the series with one match to go. But what transpired was something else, as Stuart Broad has now almost single handedly won England the match and the series. South Africa were dismissed for 83 in their second innings, setting England a target of 74 runs.
As is the norm, twitter took note of such a performance and exploded. We bring you some of the best tweets from the match.
South Africa's dominance has come to an abrupt end. A sad demise of a great team. #SAvENG
