India managed yet another t20 series win after defeating Sri Lanka in the 3 match series decider in a one-sided affair.
Dhoni chose to bowl after winning the toss in Vizag. His decision proved to be correct as Ashwin scalped the key wickets of Dickwella and Dilshan in the first over of the game.
From there on, it was a struggle for Sri Lanka as wickets fell at regular intervals without any solid partnerships. Some fine bowling performance by Indian spinners, activeness in the field and lacklustre display by Sri Lankan batsmen was the reason for Sri Lankan horror batting performance as they were bowled out for a paltry 82 in 18 overs. Ashwin was the standout Indian bowler. He got 4 wickets for just 8 runs — an Indian record for the best bowling in T20 internationals.

There was nothing much to worry about in the chase as India registered a comprehensive victory by 9 wickets. Shikhar Dhawan remained unbeaten on 46 while Ajinkya Rahane was unbeaten on 22 as India chased down the required 83 runs in just 13.5 overs to win series 2-1. It is India’s second straight T20 series win.
The win also brought India back to No. 1 position in ICC T20 rankings. Ashwin was adjudged the Man of the Match and also the Man of the Series for 9 scalps.

Since 9-ball 26 v Aus in Sydney T20 which India helped chase 197, #Dhawan's confidence has taken a big leap. Great signs for India for WT20!

Overwhelming win for India. Defeat in first match obviously injured pride and revenge will be sweet. But shouldnt Yuvi have batted no 3?

Most spinners bowl quicker through the air on turning tracks but not #ashwin , keeps it slow and picks wickets.
