FC Barcelona defeated 9-men Atletico Madrid side 2-1 in Camp Nou on Saturday, as the Catalan side go top of the La Liga table with a game in hand.
Atletico Madrid started the game very lively as Koke gave an early lead to the visitors in the 10th minute. But Barcelona recovered from the sluggish start as Lionel Messi equalised in the 30th minute & Luis Suarez put the hosts one goal to the good just eight minutes later. But the Madrid side was reduced to 10-men just before half time as Filipe Luis was sent-off after a reckless challenge on Lionel Messi.
The second half lacked quality as it saw another Atletico Madrid player sent off in the 65th minute after a late challenge by Diego Godin on his national teammate Luis Suarez.

Justifying Filipe Luis hitting Messi, the fouls on Neymar, saying the player deserved being hit for his dribbles. It’s baffling.

@moving_lines Sport is also about intelligence. Intelligence is something that Diego Godin obviously lacks

I'd say Filipe Luis can go to hell but he's already been to Chelsea.

Congrats to Barcelona for winning La Liga. This is better than Pep's team. No weakness and the best forwards. BTW, Real Madrid still crap.
