Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic defeated Argentina’s Juan Martin del Potro at the US Open. The former World number 1 took the victory in straight sets with a score of 6-3, 7-6, 6-3. After 3 hours and 16 minutes, Djokovic took his 3rd US Open title. This puts him 3rd on the all-time list, tied with the great Pete Sampras.
Here is how Twitter reacted to the Serbian’s triumph.
Congratulations @DjokerNole 14th Grand Slam title. Freight train is on the tracks. How many will he win? Can he pass Rafa? Roger? Fun times ahead!
