Team India, lead by Virat Kohli, won the 3rd test in Colombo by 117 runs and clinched the Series 2-1. This was India’s 1st Test Series win on Sri Lankan soil in 22 Years. Also, this was the first time in the history of Indian Cricket that they won an Overseas Test Series after losing the Opening test.
Cheteshwar Pujara was declared the “Man of the Match” , while Ravichandran Ashwin won the “Man of the Series” Award.
