New day, New venue, but the same old story. The Indian team once again repeated their disappointing performance of Pune, in Bangalore. This time, though the spinner was not the same Steve-O-Koffee, it was the most experienced and all time Australian best Off-Spinner Nathan Lyon, who now has the best figures by a visitor spinner in India picking up eight wickets.
The Indian team played poorly, with not much turn on the Day 1 wicket. It was the sheer consistency of Lyon that resulted in such excellent performance. Moreover, Virat Kohli is turning out to be a bunny of Lyon, having been dismissed by him five times. Such was his domination that the Indian players were getting out to even the straighter ones bowled by him.
Here’s how Twitterati acknowledged India and Nathan Lyon’s Performance.
