Many congrats @msdhoni for a great stint as skipper. India still needs MSD the batsman. Perhaps the right time for @imVkohli to take over.

Ace Commentator Harsha Bhogle tweeted at length about what MS Dhoni has been.
Trying to think like #Dhoni. Kohli most likely 2019 World Cup captain, so best that he leads in the Champions Trophy so best he starts now.

For Indian cricket:
Year 2014 – ended with MSD retiring from Tests.
Year 2017 – began with MSD stepping down from ODI and T20I captaincy.— Bharath Seervi (@SeerviBharath) January 4, 2017
I am quite sad to see Dhoni quit as ODI and T20I captain, but I swear his timing is just perfect. He knows this is Kohli's era.
