On Day 4 of the ongoing Chennai test between India and England, Karun Nair became just the second Indian to score a triple hundred after Virender Sehwag did it twice (319 and 309).
After being unbeaten on 71* at stumps on Day 3, Nair added a mammoth total of 232 runs into his tally on Day 4 to end the innings being unbeaten at 303*. Nair is only the third batsmen to have converted his maiden century into a triple after?Garry Sobers (365*) and?Bob Simpson (311).
Nair scored a triple century in only his third test innings, which is least by any batsmen in the world (next closest Len Hutton, 9 innings).?As Karun Nair achieved a memorable feat, the twitter world took the opportunity to congratulate Nair and we take a look at the top tweets:
Congratulations on the historic triple century @karun126! We all are delighted & proud of your remarkable feat.

What I loved about Karun was that he started from scratch after 100,then after 200 & if he had the chance would have done after 300 too.👏👏👏
