Earlier today, the Formula 1 Reddit account reached the 500k subscribers mark. In celebration, Twitter users stepped in to congratulate the account.
The Reddit account also posted a massive throwback to some of their best moments. They started off on this journey nearly 10 years ago, with their very first post being Robert Kubica’s maiden F1 win for BMW Sauber.
Less than a year later, the Formula 1 profile hit 1000 subscribers. It wasn’t long until the subscriber count multiplied by 10 in 2012. By the time the Hybrid turbo era began, the account had already amassed 50K subscribers.

Now, in 2019, the account has officially reached 500k, and who knows, in a few years’ time, it might even breach 1 million.
