World number 370 Denis Shapovalov took down no. 19 Nick Kyrgios for his first ATP World Tour match win, in the opening round of Rogers Cup.
The 17 year old Canadian, said he loved playing before the crowd in Toronto. The teenager produced dazzling shot making in this one hour and 40 minutes long encounter, prevailing 7-6(2) 3-6 6-3.

“He’s coming off of one of the best results of his career. He has a great future,” Kyrgios said. “I’m really looking forward to seeing how he’s going to progress… He’s a top player.”
The Australian lost his cool several times during the match and was even caught saying “I’m going home” during a seat changeover. He has lately been tweeting a lot about his love for the new game Pokemon Go and the twitter world was quick to take a shot at him for this.
