The 28-year old winger hasn’t always been a guaranteed starter under Diego Simeone’s regime at the Calderon. But he has been playing an important role in the Los Colchoneros claiming a Europa League title, a Copa del Rey and a La Liga title since his debut in 2011.
The Barcelona based newspaper ‘Mundo Deportivo’ published this news, claiming that the deal could be concluded as early as the end of the week, with talks already in advanced stages.

Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United were the Premier League outfits that were initially linked to Turan but if the fresh reports are to be believed, the player is now edging towards Camp Nou.
Turan, who has won 81 caps for his country Turkey, is famous for his aggressive style of play and fueled a controversy when he threw his boot at the assistant referee during a Copa del Rey encounter between Barcelona and Atletico. Although, it is still unknown that Barca who are out in the market to bolster their midfield will pay in full the £29million release fee of the player.
