Fabian Delph has joined Manchester City after taking another U-turn, as he denied the rumours of him joining the team a few days back.
Delph was previously set to join the club after they had activated his transfer release clause of £8 million. The club has announced this signing via its social networking medium.

Aston Villa’s midfielder had undergone a medical at the Manchester City training facility on July 11, but suddenly shifted his side and turned a new leaf, saying
” I’m aware there has been intense media speculation surrounding my future in the last 24 hours and I want to set the record straight. I’m not leaving. I’m staying at the football club and I can’t wait for the start of the season and captaining this great football club.”

But recent images on social networking sites like Twitter had previously shown yet another twist to the Bollywood-esque story, as he was spotted at Wilmslow, Greater Manchester, supposedly for a medical, which is now confirmed.

The 25-year-old wasn’t a part of the team’s pre-season tour and now has been spotted at the same location where Sterling had completed his move a few days back. Midfielder’s decision might have changed after the speculation of his teammate Benteke moving to Liverpool.
