Philadelphia 76ers Centre Joel Embiid had far from a good game against Toronto Raptors on Monday as he finished the game scoreless for the first time in his career.
In the 101-96 defeat, Embiid took 10 field attempts, three from the free throw line in his 32 minutes, yet finished with 0 points, 0 blocks, four turnovers and five fouls. This is known to be the worst returns in at least 35 years.
Immediately after the match, social media was buzzing with some hilarious responses to Embiid’s performance.

For many, the game brought back memories from last season’s Conference semi-finals, where Embiid’s performance over the seven games wasn’t upto the mark at a time when he was know to have suffering an illness.

“It starts with me,” he said as per Rich Hoffman of The Athletic. I can’t have this type of production. I would’ve never thought I would be here talking about 0 points in an NBA game but it is what it is. Some nights you make shots, some nights you don’t… Different defensive schemes and you gotta learn from it.”
