Toro Rosso Give Daniil Kvyat a Gift to Celebrate his Daughter’s Birth

Last weekend in Germany, Daniil Kvyat gave the Scuderia Toro Rosso team their second career podium. Later, in the post-race interview, he revealed that he became the proud father of a baby girl on Saturday.

So, the Toro Rosso team congratulated the Russian and also came bearing gifts. As he took the package, Daniil Kvyat jokingly asked whether they gifted him a million dollars, to uproarious laughter.

When he revealed his first gift, it was a a Toro Rosso onesie, tailor-made for his daughter. The next present was a teddy bear, also for the newborn little girl. The obviously emotional Kvyat thanked the team for the gifts and the love and praised them for the dream weekend.

The Russian driver stunned many when he found himself on the podium in a topsy-turvy race. Winning the race was the man who replaced him at Red Bull in 2016, Max Verstappen. Completing the Red Bull reunion was Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel, a former Red Bull driver himself. It was also a half-Ferrari podium, as Kvyat was a reserve driver for the Maranello outfit.
