Tom Brady’s alleged text to Rob Gronkowski on joining Tampa Bay stating ‘Football is fun again’ is causing all sorts of chaos. The NFL star’s unforeseen exit from the Patriots was shrouded in mystery for a while now. There are a lot of rumors floating around but this one just does not seem to go away. While appearing on Skip and Shannon: Undisputed alongside Skip Bayless, Shannon Sharpe accused Tom Brady of being a sore loser following the latter’s acrimonious exit from the Patriots. Reacting to Brady’s alleged text to Rob Gronkowski, Sharpe says “Here’s the thing, Tom Brady is trying to paint Bill Belichick as the bad guy.”

Tom Brady’s New England journey ends on a sour note?
Tom Brady spent the entirety of his NFL career at New England since 2000. He dethroned the great Drew Bledsoe as the starting QB in just his second season. Brady went on to build a winning dynasty at New England with Bill Belichick as head coach.

After almost 20 years, Brady and the Rob Kraft-owned Patriots decided to part ways. The 42-year old signed a contract with Tampa Bay Buccanneers. Former Patriots teammate Rob Gronkowski joined Brady at Tampa Bay earlier this year.
Sharpe further questioned the team mentality of the Patriots’ players while playing under Bill Belichick. He said “Yeah, these guys have won a lot but they don’t look like they’re having fun. They’re so robotic, they’re so methodical, you ask them the same questions and every guy will give you the same answers.”

Is Tom Brady past his prime or does he have one last play in store for us?
Sharpe further said that Tom Brady was past his prime which is why New England opted to let him go. “Let me tell you the gospel truth, Tom Brady played like stir fry! Brady did not play good last year which is why they let him go,” the former Denver Broncos legend added. Brady registered just 24 TDs last year as compared to his previous two season tally of 29 and 32 respectively.
