Highly skilled at gymnastics, Simone Biles is one of the most decorated gymnasts in the United States of all time. She will also be in the 2021 Tokyo Olympics to compete for another gold for team USA.

This year she has the potential to win 6 medals in the Olympic Games as she is yet to be beaten in the all-around competition.

Recently Simone wrote in a tweet ” WE’RE GOING TO TOKYO” and expressed how it seems like a dream come true, to make it to the Olympic team for the second time.

“I’m beyond excited to represent Team USA. This is just the beginning of the journey. thanks for all the endless support & love. I couldn’t ask for better support” she added.

Simone already has four skills named after her, and she may have five named after her at this Olympics. The fifth would depend upon how well she performs in

Yurchenko double pike vault.

What is the Yurchenko double pike vault and why does it matter?

The Yurchenko double pike vault is an event named after Soviet gymnast Natalia Yurchenko since she won the gold at the 1983 World Championships in women’s all-around. The trick consists of two flips in the pike position. The same demands high speed and power.

And, Simone Biles is the first woman to do the same in a competition. Moreover, only a few men have tried doing it yet and Biles will be competing for it.

Who else will compete in the Women’s Gymnastics Team along with Simone?

This outspoken woman is all set to rock the Olympics with her Gymnastics performance. She is the only woman who has been to Olympics once. All the other members of the USA team do not have any prior experience in the Olympics.

Along with Biles, the other three women who’ll be in the USA Olympics team are Sunisa Lee, Jordan Chiles, and Grace McCallum.
