Tokyo Olympics 2020 has been a roller coaster for athletes competing in a pandemic. Despite the troubles, athletes have trained, and those who won are on the top of the world. USA shooter Kayle Browning clinched the silver medal in the trap women event.

In the trap women’s individual event, Kayle Browning defeated San Marino’s Alessandra Perilli to clinch the silver medal. 29-year-old Browning competed in her maiden Olympics.

Kaylie had a rough start missing the first two shots in her opening series in trap women’s individual event. But she made an incredible comeback, not missing any shots in the next three series.
In her knockout with San Marino’s shooter, she didn’t miss any shots making a spot in the top two. However, in the second last series, she missed two shots. Slovakia’s Zuzana, the eventual gold medalist, missed just one shot.

Notably, both the shooters ended their match without missing their last five shots. There was only a point difference between the gold and silver medalists as they finished at 43 and 42.
The USA is leading in the shooting sport with maximum gold medals. Astonishingly, they clean swept the gold medals in skeet events. While they also clinched medals in 10m air rifle events and trap mixed events.

American hero Vincent Hancock won his record-breaking third Olympic gold medal at Tokyo Olympics. Team USA will now compete in the 50m rifle, 3 positions, the last shooting event left for the mega games.
