Phelps on ‘Olympic Highlights With Kevin Hart and Snoop Dogg”
Recently, they interviewed the legendary Olympian Michael Phelps on their show. In the interview, after Kevin introduced Michael Phelps, he starts his usual funny small talk. Snoop asked Phelps why he was a part of NBC?s Broadcasting Team in Tokyo. He replied, saying it was overwhelming for him. Being able to go to meets and commentate races was a unique experience for him, as he did not know what to expect.
He states that these are his first Olympic Games (since 2000) where he sat out of the pool. Kevin believes Phelps is lucky that he is getting to witness the Olympics from an athlete?s perspective combined with a viewer.
When Snoop asks him what the most challenging part of his new role is, Phelps says he only gives an expert?s perspective. He believes that he should leave the hard part to the professionals. Phelps feels that his advice differs from others because he focused on being as efficient as possible in the water.

Phelps thinks that had Hart not worn the training fins, he could not get as high out of the water.
