Fortnite is perhaps one of the most popular eSports titles right now. With Epic Games constantly introducing exciting new content into the game, mostly related to various pop-culture elements, the game has been successful in gathering a fan following from various fandoms. Epic Games always sees to it that the game stays on the top of the mind of the community, which gave rise to the massive popularity the title currently boasts.
However, there is another side to this. Many pros and players have undertaken an exodus from this game on account of the toxicity and immaturity of the player community. Others have complained that Epic pays little to no attention to the competitive aspect of the game, as much as it does to the content.
Over the years, some very prominent names in the Fortnite pro scene have quit the game and moved on to other eSport titles. Recently, there were rumors about Ninja, perhaps the most well-known face in Fortnite as well as the world of streaming, leaving the game.
