Shroud made it clear in his review that one of his previous statements about the game had been misinterpreted.
“In the f—ing copy-paste clickbait articles people are saying, you know, I’m saying I hope this game dies in a month. By that, I meant I hope I’m not sitting here grinding in this game.”
He goes on to explain that he hoped he would not have to grind hard in this game in order to enjoy it. The game has features for players of every taste out there. If someone wants to grind hard and earn all the cars and achievements in the game, they can do so.

On the other hand, if someone wants to “plow” through the story mode, or just ease into it and chill around in Night City, they can do that, and they will still be able to enjoy the game completely. This is something Shroud holds in high regard when it comes to this title: “I think that’s f—ing awesome!”
The GOAT is also hopeful that CDPR will soon fix the current issues and glitches in the game. When a fan asked him whether he thinks CDPR will spend more money on DLCs this Christmas, Shroud said that they will spend all their time making sure they get better optimization and fix the bugs and so on.
