There are many things that make pro wrestling a perfect fun package for the fans. Starting from larger-than-life gimmicks, spectacular moves, engaging storylines, and endless rivalries. When it comes to rivalries, the ruthless aggression era saw a number of historic feuds which kept the fans hooked, working as a connective link between different matches.

But there is one such incident between them that can be considered one of the weirdest in WWE’s history. Once Triple H put a $100,000 million bounty on fellow evolution member Batista for injuring Goldberg during an episode of WWE Raw back in 2003. On October 20, 2003, during WWE Raw, Batista engaged in an angle between Goldberg and Shawn Michaels. The Evolution member put a chair around Goldberg’s ankle and then jumped into that, making him badly injured. The segment ended up with Triple H coming and awarding Batista a briefcase containing a $100,000 bounty as a revenge act for 2003’s Unforgiven.

Goldberg revealed real-life animosity between him and Triple H

After years passed, Goldberg became vocal about the real-life hit between the hunter and him, accusing the former of having strong hostility toward him.

“I was hanging out with Kevin [Nash] and Scott [Hall]. Their best friend was Triple H up at WWE. They had the whole Kliq thing. They’d always talk. There were things going back and forth,” the Hall of Famer noted while speaking with Dailywwenews.
