Since the Busch Light Clash was the very first NASCAR race at the Los Angeles Coliseum, it was obvious that it would garner a lot of intrigue. Naturally, there were many celebrities who turned up for the inaugural race. Two of them were social media starlets, Charli D’Amelio and her sister, Dixie. During their visit, they got to meet Joe Gibbs Racing driver Kyle Busch.

It was a decent weekend in the office for the #18 driver, as he started the race from pole position. Busch ended up second behind the winner, Joey Logano. All in all, he really had nothing to complain about, and the D’Amelio sisters definitely got their money’s worth.
For a bit of background, Charli is a competitive dancer and later turned to social media. Meanwhile, her sister is a singer and even has her own talk show. All in all, the two of them are pretty big social media influencers.
How did the NASCAR fans react to their presence?
Admittedly, the reaction of the fans was a little mixed. A lot of the fans actually did not know who the D’Amelio sisters were. Many even jokingly confessed that they were pretty old, and that was why they did not recognize the girls.
Somehow I missed that the D’Amelio sisters were at the NASCAR race today and met Kyle Busch. Strange times! https://t.co/fl8d4ht9Ws
