There are some WWE Superstars who can make life difficult for Legends. In fact, this is something fans have seen happen quite often. For example, The Undertaker had a friend who made Hulk Hogan and Bret Hart reconsider their skills.

Reportedly, Late WWE Hall of Famer, Yokozuna, has defeated both Hulk Hogan and Bret Hart for the WWE Championship. Additionally, he’s the only to have done so during Hart and Hogan’s WWE career.

For those who don’t know, Yokozuna was an integral part of the Samoan Wrestling Legacy. He is Roman Reigns’ first cousin, and carried the legacy forward during his time with WWE.

Yokozuna was inducted in the WWE Hall of Fame in 2012 by Rikishi and The Usos.

The Undertaker wanted to be Yokozuna’s first opponent

When Yokozuna arrived at WWE in 1992, The Deadman begged The Big Man to let him face Yokozuna first. However, Vince McMahon had something else in store for him – The Giant Gonzalez.

“I said, ‘Vince please. I’m begging you’, please let me work with him first.’ I got the traditional Vince laugh, ‘Haha! Oh, you’ll work with him, but I’ve got something else in mind for you right now’. I kid you not, just so happens coming down the hall, comes Giant Gonzalez. He goes, ‘that’s what I got in store for you’.”

Eventually, Yokozuna and The Undertaker did work together. Their clash at Survivor Series 1994 is one to remember. The Deadman went up against The Samoan Wrestler, and put him in a casket.

While the duo were staunch rivals on-camera, they had a budding friendship off-camera. In fact, The Phenom revealed that there isn’t a day that goes by when he doesn’t think about his friend.
