During last year’s Xbox Games Showcase, The Medium was one of the titles that stole the show. The Physiological dual-reality game follows the story of Marianne, a medium who can travel into the spirit realm. From what we have seen of the game so far, it delivers a unique gameplay experience. The game renders both the realms simultaneously, which dictates that it deserves the best hardware if one wishes to enjoy the gameplay experience as intended.

Apparently, players have been struggling to run the game with even the most powerful hardware. However, AMD has recently released a new graphics driver that is optimized to run Bloober Team’s latest psychological horror title. However, players need to keep in mind that this solution will return the best results with the 16GB AMD RX 6800T GPUs.

AMD Radeon Adrenalin 2020 Edition 21.2.1 focuses majorly on providing support for The Medium

Paired with the 16 GB variant of the AMD RX 6800T GPU, the Radeon Software Adrenalin 21.2.1 results in up to a 9% increase in 4K performance in The Medium on high settings. By “increase”, we mean an increase or improvement from the 4K performance on the previous version of the Adrenalin graphics driver.

Furthermore, this update has fixed a lot of other issues as well. One of the major issues that this update has addressed is that of screen flickering while using an MSI Afterburner. In addition to this, the update also fixed the issue of recording and streaming features failing to enable on the AMD Radeon HD 7800 series graphics products.
