What’s The Story Behind Novak Djokovic Foundation Anthem?
Jelena revealed a very special story behind the song that functions as NDF’s anthem.
She revealed that the song was written by a young girl named Zia Victoria Uehling from New York. She’s a daughter of the close friends of Novak and Jelena.
Zia wrote the song because she wanted to collect money for the organization by performing it on the streets of New York. Interestingly, Zia wrote this song at the young age of 10.
Later, Zia gave this song as a gift to the organization and NDF adopted at its pledge. In fact, Zia even performed it for the first time at NDF’s Gala dinner in Milan.
This year, the song was translated into Serbian. Jelena revealed that the song makes her emotional every time she hears it because of the context around it.
The core message that the song tries to convey is the importance of sharing. Jelena reiterates that this is what the core principle of NDF is.
