Roger Federer’s quest for an 8th Wimbledon title should see no hurdles in the first week at All England Club. The spirited American Jack Sock is likely to be Federer’s opponent in R3. Federer will then meet Feliciano Lopez, who is still looking for his first win against the Swiss in their potential 12th encounter.

Come the quarters and Federer should probably meet Berdych, the man who knocked him out a few years back at the same stage of the tournament. Though Birdman has not been himself lately and is struggling this season, Roger should get past him in straight sets or at max 4.

The semi will be a blockbuster clash, as Federer can take on Nadal or more likely Andy Murray. It’s unlikely that Nadal would reach this far, which means its should be a repeat of the 2012 final. Federer should have a slight edge as he has dispatched Andy many times on the big stage. A four set win looks likely for Roger if he plays his best game.

The final may very well be a repeat of last year, as Djokovic should make it through from the other half.
The last time Federer won Wimbledon he defeated Novak and Andy both and he’d have to do the same this year too.

1R- Dzumhur
2R- S.Querry
3R- J. Sock
4R- F. Lopez
